Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to the print.sawmillmag.com and S&W Publishing LLC and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to S&W Publishing LLC include print.sawmillmag.com and S&W Publishing LLC shall be herein setforth known as PUBLISHER. The S&W Publishing LLC website is a software as a service subscription site. By using the S&W Publishing LLC website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Use of your Personal Information

PUBLISHER may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name. If you purchase PUBLISHER's products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. All credit card information is processed 100% by Stripe, Inc. We retain the last four digits of the card number as well as the type of card and its expiration for identification purposes. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction. We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future. Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by PUBLISHER. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the PUBLISHER website. PUBLISHER encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from PUBLISHER so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. PUBLISHER is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the PUBLISHER website.

PUBLISHER requires one account per individual. PUBLISHER requires that each customer account be setup with the individuals legal first and last name. To prevent abuse, PUBLISHER validates internally whether or not an email address entered during sign up or change email address (from my profile) originates from a known temporary mail server. If the email is from a known blocked service the registration request is blocked.

PUBLISHER collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested. PUBLISHER may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from PUBLISHER and its affiliates. PUBLISHER may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services, or of potential new services that may be offered. PUBLISHER does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. PUBLISHER may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to PUBLISHER, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. PUBLISHER will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on PUBLISHER or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of PUBLISHER; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of PUBLISHER, or the public.

This Website

print.sawmillmag.com is an instance of Magz.XYZ, an online magaizne publication fulfillment management service. As such, all information and data acquired through the use of Magz.xyz can and will be used for the internal development and research of the Magz product family. By accepting these terms of consenting to use the Magz service, which is providing services to S&W Publishing LLC Magz may share non-user identifiable information under this agreement with its third parties and affiliates.

Amazon Web Services

  • Fulfillment Exports are stored on S3.
  • Encrypted database backups are stored on S3.

  • Only qualified system administrators have access to AWS Management Console.
  • S3 buckets that contain customer information have specific access keys.

Rollbar

  • Transmitted error reports may contain customer information.

  • Only qualified senior level engineers have access to the Rollbar application.

  • Names and email address may be exposed. If a customer engages the live chat potentially sensitive customer information may be exposed depending on the substance of the conversation.

  • Publishers control the Intercom account integration.
  • No Magz staff have access to Intercom console.
  • All GDPR requests to have Intercom data deleted must be sent to the Publisher.
  • Acceptance of these terms include accepting Intercom's Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Acceptable Use Policy.
Lob
  • USPS Address Verification
  • Names and addresses may be exposed.
  • No payment information is exposed (full credit card numbers, full bank account numbers, etc.).
  • Only qualified Magz staff have Lob access.
  • No Publishers have access to Lob console.
  • All GDPR requests to have Lob data deleted must be sent to Magz.
  • Acceptance of these terms include accepting Lob's Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Acceptable Use Policy.
Zendesk
  • Support Ticket Help
  • Names and email address may be exposed. If a customer engages the live chat potentially sensitive customer information may be exposed depending on the substance of the conversation.
  • No payment information is exposed (credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc.).
  • Publishers control the Zendesk account integration.
  • No Magz staff have access to Zendesk console.
  • All GDPR requests to have Zendesk data deleted must be sent to the Publisher.
  • Acceptance of these terms include accepting Zendesk's Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Acceptable Use Policy.

Use of Cookies

The PUBLISHER website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
